Frank Skinner is one of the funniest and most successful comedians to have emerged in recent years. Born Chris Collins on 28th January 1957 he grew up in the West Midlands where he inherited his father's passion for football. He attended his first West Bromwich Albion game at the age of ten, and immediately became a lifelong supporter.
Frank performed his first stand-up gig in December 1987 and went on to win the prestigious Perrier Award at the Edinburgh Festival. He met fellow comedian David Baddiel in 1990 and the two went on to create the hit TV series FANTASY FOOTBALL LEAGUE, picking up a hit along the way with the World Cup Anthem '3 Lions (It's Coming Home).
Frank's unique blend of laddish and philosophical humour has earned him a prime time slot on ITV for THE FRANK SKINNER SHOW, watched by up to ten million viewwers each week. Here, for the first time, Frank candidly tells us in his own words, about the highs and lows of his life and career.
